Kobe Bryant’s widow pays tribute to him on his birthday during the photo trial for his death

However, the legacy of the NBA legend has survived as many have continued to show him respect since the tragic accident. The late star’s widow, Vanessa Bryant, has always honored her husband and their daughter, Gianna. Currently, Vanessa is in the midst of a lawsuit that focuses on the photos of the crash site that are circulating. Amidst the legal drama, however, Ms. Bryant took the time to commemorate her husband on what would have been her 44th birthday.

Kobe Bryant’s widow shared the birthday message instagram account, and the photo it included shows Vanessa hugging Kobe after her winning performance in the 2009 NBA Finals. It also included a short but sweet caption:

I mean, I’m not crying or anything. I just have dust in my eyes. But seriously, it’s a sweet post honoring the Los Angeles Lakers icon while signifying the love he and his wife had for each other. Vanessa Bryant shared a sweet message also for her husband’s birthday last year. Like the latter, the post included a flashback image and a sentimental caption.

Kobe Bryant’s sudden death was followed by a wide range of tributes from fans and celebrities. Soon after, the ESPN docuseries The Last Dance even honored Bryant during one of its 10 episodes. On the first anniversary of his death, Jimmy Fallon and other moving shared tributes for the Hall of Fame. And unsurprisingly, Bryant-related memorabilia has become even more popular lately.
