Disney + has released the first teaser of “O Coro: Sucesso, Aqui Vou Eu”, a Brazilian music series created by Miguel Falabella. The preview presents the cast in individual close-ups, to the sound of a version of “Tempo Perdido”, by Legião Urbana.
The plot follows a group of young adults from diverse backgrounds, who see in the announcement of an audition for a famous theater company the opportunity to pursue their sleeping dreams and make a career in theater.
The aspiring singer-actors who pass the first screening begin to experience a mixture of feelings: the fascination for the world of theater, the discovery of new loves, betrayals, obsessions of the past and the fear of rejection, since they do not know if it will be hired at the end of the hearings.
In addition to writing and producing, Falabella will also star in the series, appearing as the producer of the project that will be assembled into the plot. But their role will be less than that of the young aspirants.
The cast is led by Gabriella Di Grecco, star of the Argentine series “Bia”, on Disney Channel, as well as Daniel Rangel (“Three Summers”), Lilian Valeska (“Malhação”), Guilherme Magon (“Harassment”), Karin Hills (“Pé na Cova”), Jandir Ferrari (“The Secret Life of Couples”), newcomer Sara Sarres, Rhener Freitas and Argentina’s Micaela Diaz (the latter two also come from the “Bia” series), among others .
With 10 episodes, the series will also feature a soundtrack full of classics of Brazilian music, from Pixinguinha to Raul Seixas, and is directed by Falabella himself and Cninha de Paula (“De Perto Ela Não é Normal”).
The first is scheduled for September 28th.
