As fans of Stranger Things eagerly await the fifth and final season, the stars of the Netflix series are considering their own futures. This is the case of Noah Schnapp, who recently received his high school diploma, here the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree.
Will Byers’ interpreter has been accepted at the University of Pennsylvania, where he plans to study business. So will the 17-year-old actor step away from the limelight? Nothing is less certain, but he intends to diversify his activities.
Noah Schnapp described his acting profession as follows “hobbyIn an interview given to variety : “It’s fun to explore different things. I’d love to direct, produce, write, be an entrepreneur and do different things.”
And she’s already started venturing into the world of entrepreneurship with TBH, a vegan spread brand: “I love Nutella. It’s my favorite thing, but it’s so bad for your health and the planet. So I thought, ‘There’s a place in the market.’
Studying business was therefore a no-brainer for Noah Schnapp, who says he is enthusiastic about the idea of exploring new horizons and learning new things in any sector. It is also a way for him to enrich his acting skills: “At the end of the day, you’re playing all these different characters and you have to figure out where that’s coming from.”
And it can also pass for summer jobs! Noah Schnapp made a surprising discovery about his summer job: He was working as a lifeguard at a swimming pool. Student artwork reminiscent of one of Stranger Things’ fan favorite characters: Billy!
Max’s brother (Sadie Sink), played by Dacre Montgomery, was a lifeguard in Season 3 of the Netflix series. So Noah Shapp became Billy for the summer: “It was just for fun”she said Flaunt Magazine.
Although Noah Schnapp doesn’t really need a summer job, he wants to stay down to earth and have a normal life: “I grew up with a normal life and normal friends and stuff outside of Stranger Things. So that helped keep me grounded.”
