Percy Jackson TV series has found its main actor! The television adaptation of Rick Riordan’s novels produced by Disney Plus has indeed chosen American actor Walker Skobel to pass on his qualities to the show’s title character. Thirteen years ago, the latter became known to the general public thanks to the movie Adam available on Netflix.
The seven-volume literary saga follows the adventures of Percy Jackson, a teenager who discovers that he is a demigod, the son of Poseidon. After training to learn how to master his own forces, he will start a series of quests accompanied by several comrades: Anabet Chase (half-goddess, daughter of Athena) or even Satire Grover Underwood. Will Percy be able to save twelve years of height from the Titans of Olympus?
The Percy Jackson series – created by writer Rick Riordan himself and screenwriter John Steinberg (Black Sails) – is not the first adaptation of Rick Rioardan’s novels to see the light of day: the 2010 film Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief directed by Chris. Columbus (Harry Potter 1 and 2) came out on our screens, followed three years later by the second part, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.
