On last episode of Girls Next Level (opens in a new tab), Madison and Marquardt talked about their experiences moving into the mansion and their first sexual encounters with Hugh Hefner, who died in 2017. I was so nervous. I was having fun too, don’t get me wrong. Some of the girls were cute, or seemed nice at the time, and going to this club was cool, but I was very nervous. I was like ‘It’s good or bad’. So, I got really drunk, I went upstairs, someone took a bath in his bathroom. Everyone should have gone into the bathroom, but no one did. It was just me and one other person. I just remember putting my feet in the bathroom. After a long night of dancing in high heels, it was really cool… I think everyone who lived there by then had already been through the mess and just wanted to get it over with as soon as possible. Nobody wanted to waste time with a fucking bathroom. So I head to the bed. The other new girl is already lying there. There are vibrators ready for everyone. I had never used a vibrator in my life. So, I’m lying there waiting for everyone, and I don’t even remember everyone coming in, I just remember I was lying there and suddenly everyone was there. And the first thing that happens is that the recruiter says “dad”. I can tell, but everyone in the bedroom called him dad, which is really disgusting. So she was like, ‘Dad, do you want to have the new girlfriend?’ And I’m not fucking you, the next thing I know she’s on top of me.
Madison went on to describe the encounter as “traumatic” and said she felt “used”, but that made her even more determined to get what she wanted, which was to move into the mansion and bring some stability into her life. . He would stay there for nearly a decade, and sex apparently became “so routine” afterwards that Hefner didn’t move. She described it as a “bump on a log” in the middle of the bed.
Bridget Marquardt also described her first time with Hugh Hefner during the same chat. She had just earned her master’s degree and was deciding whether to find a real career or try to make Los Angeles work. Hefner asked her out and she said no. But as the months went by and she started thinking about it more, she decided she wanted to “live a little” and try something crazy. So she went to a party at the Playboy Mansion, dressed as Carmen Miranda, and she told him she would be ready to go out with him and her friends of hers.
A few days later, she went to a club with Hefner and her friends. They all drank and listened to a mix tape in the limo. She asked to join the club and go through “surreal” security. They sat in the VIP area and danced all night, but she wasn’t sure what she would expect from her when she got back.
I still wasn’t sure what would happen when we got back. The limo is a lot of fun on the way back. The music is blaring. We are already screwed. Girls go crazy. The girls were kissing and it was fun. I felt like she had really lowered my inhibitions. I was like, ‘This is fun. I’m having fun.’ Everyone was crazy, drunk but fun loving, a little sexy but nothing made me feel uncomfortable. I thought ‘Maybe that’s okay with me. I do not know.’ She always thought she could always come back and start over. She doesn’t have to be tonight. So, we come to the mansion and I get out of the limo and I’m going to go to my car, and then the recruiter says, “Are you coming with us?” And I said, ‘Well, I really don’t want to. I don’t know what’s going to happen, ”and she said,“ Well, I can tell you, if you don’t come tonight, you probably won’t be invited back. And I was like, ‘Oh really?’
Marquardt revealed that he went upstairs with Hefner and went to the bathroom with the other girls, including Madison. Everyone then went to Hefner’s room and she was shocked at how messy and dirty it was. Madison described it as “hoarding style” and Marquardt described it as “messy”. There was porn on the TV and they had to take a small route because there was so much stuff all over the place. There were vibrators on the bed. People finally brought a platter of cold cuts and various sauces.

I was like, ‘I don’t even know what’s going to happen now.’ I was hoping I could watch and not participate. I was really hoping for it because I was absolutely not ready and I didn’t want to. I didn’t know how it would end, then the recruiter came over and said, “You’re leaving, right? Every girl had sex for a minute, maybe … I was like, ‘I don’t know. I don’t think I’m ready to do it yet, “and the recruiter said,” If you don’t, you probably won’t be invited to come back. And I was like, ‘Ummmm … okay.’ I was just trying to weigh it in my head, since you have alcohol in your system and you are tired and you watch everyone else do it. I wasn’t thinking about “YOLO” at the time because it wasn’t a thing yet, but in a way. I was thinking, is this something I want to do? You just have to make a decision on when to play, and I was like, you know what, I’ll do it. And I did and it was disappointing and embarrassing.
After talking about their first few times, Madison and Marquardt talked about the moments that followed and how embarrassing it was to have sex in front of so many other women, especially because you have sex with them and they aren’t always positive. In fact, Madison said she could sometimes hear other women “bullshit” about her while she was having sex. Here is part of the quote from her …

I can’t tell you how embarrassing this whole routine has been, especially since we arrived later and there was so much conflict with the other girls because you were literally sitting naked making love in front of a bunch of people that you they hate and they talk shit to you while having sex and you can hear it. it was hell
Madison and Marquardt lived in the Playboy Mansion for much of the 2000s. They eventually had their own reality show called girls next door, with Hefner’s third girlfriend, Kendra Wilkinson. The show was a big hit on E! It ultimately aired for six seasons, five of which starred Madison and Marquardt. Eventually they both broke up with Hefner and moved on and created their own lives outside of Playboy, which is why the last season saw other women move on.
