Un Si Grand Soleil preview: Tuesday August 30, 2022 episode recap [SPOILERS]

On Tuesday 30 August at Un Si Grand Soleil…

Leonor blames herself for Miriam’s murder to protect Louis, who she believes is guilty. When questioned, she claims that Miriam knew she was behind the anonymous e-mail that led Jacques to commit suicide. He adds that he was sure Miriam was going to repeat everything to Mark and Louis. Ian asks her why she sent that email, knowing the damage it could cause. Leonor replies that she heard that Mark and Miriam wanted to have a baby and it drove her crazy.

Louis’ mother then explains that she went to Mark’s apartment to steal Miriam’s keys and make a duplicate. Then he adds that he threw the stolen creams in the street. Although he is not sure where. Then the two police officers notice that he forgets a lot of things, which doesn’t annoy Leonor. After all, they have what they want, he condemned himself for killing Miriam.

Later, Ian receives confirmation that it was Leonor who sent the denunciation letter to the bank. For Manu, this proves Leonor’s impulsive nature and may justify Miriam’s murder. Ian also mentions that he told them about the gasoline found in the warehouse. However, this information was never made public. Everything suits them. But Manu still wants to check the trail of creams before applying for it.

In turn, Mark receives a call from Leonor’s lawyer. She tells him that Leonor has blamed herself for Miriam’s murder and that she will be charged with first degree murder.

Mark, in disbelief, goes to the club to find Louis to inform him of his mother’s arrest. Initially silent, Louis ends up confessing to his father that he was at L Cosmétiques on the evening of Mirian’s death. The teenager explains to his father that he wanted revenge on Miriam after learning that Jacquie might have hung up. He wanted to burn down the warehouse, but changed his mind at the last moment.

While Louis blames himself, Mark, convinced that his son is telling the truth, takes him to the police station and urges him to tell the police everything he knows in order to free Leonor.

At the same time, Manu and Ian find a homeless man selling creams. He explains to them that one evening he was surprised by a man throwing his bag in the trash can. He had an old car with a different color door. He cannot identify the identity of the driver because it was dark, but he assures us that it was a man.

The investigation into the death of young Teddy is ongoing. Ellis and Becker tell Cecil Alphand that Frank has disappeared from their radar, but they notice that he is very close to Patrice Angel, the owner of the e-cigarette shop that Ted worked at.

As she is now certain that this is the same gun used to kill Ted and the two murdered dealers, Cecile realizes that Patrice is connected to trafficking and decides to tap his phone. And that’s a good thing, because Akim is already looking at Angel and his wife Eva’s shop.

Thierry and Akim shadow Patrice at the airport. They see him take a plane to Seville and alert Ellis and Becker. As a shipment of cannabis from Spain is about to arrive, the police deduce that Patrice is going to meet the supplier.

Bernier, in turn, decides to call the Spanish authorities to set up a device that will track Angel once he arrives. Cecil also wants to put Patrice’s wife Eva under surveillance because she thinks their shop was used as a cover. Bernard agrees.

Margot and Antonin have coffee at Dylan’s bar. Seeing Margot, the latter signaled Antonin to leave. Margot sees this. He tells Antonin that nothing will happen between them. She finds him cute, but he’s too young for her, old enough to be her little brother. Embarrassed, Antonini tries to put on a good face and assures us that he had no idea.

Meanwhile, Christoph has just met a potential partner and seems pleased. But Charles tells Kristoff that he is suspicious of this person he knows who studied at the same place as him. According to him, it is not clear: he was indeed suspected of stealing 30,000 euros from the BDE fund. Kristoff thanks him for the information and promises to find out.
