On Thursday, September 1st in a more beautiful life…
Nathan informed Luna that Mirta’s photo with her father Luke had been leaked on social media. Nathan then makes a mistake in front of Myrta, and so Luna tells her mother that everyone knows about her relationship with the young priest.
Shocked by this news, Myrta hastily calls Lou to tell him that a photo of them kissing is circulating on the Internet. Mirta feels guilty and thinks they should stop seeing each other. But Father Luke is convinced. He reminds his beloved that love can bear anything and convinces her to face the scandal, regardless of the consequences that may follow.
Later, Father Luke is visited by a clergyman. He tells her that the parish sent a rumor about him. The young priest claims that he really loves Mirta. He knows that God does not judge love when it is sincere. But the church cannot justify his behavior. If Father Luke wants to have a love life with Myrta, he has to leave her. Waiting for his decision, the priest is suspended from performing his duties.
While he is at Simon’s bedside, still in a coma, Eric receives a text from Arisen informing him that the prosecutor has ordered Mark into custody. Eric begins to suspect Mark of guilt. Since she is in love with Simon, she does not see him shooting. On the other hand, Martin, a junk dealer, is in the sights of an ex-cop. Eric swears to Simon that he won’t let Martin go.
Eric then follows the junk dealer to the port and sees him boarding a yacht. He waits for Martin to leave and climbs into the boat to search every nook and cranny. Eventually, he found a gun he had bought himself on the black market in the couch.
Eric then returns to the hospital at Simon’s bedside. She feels responsible for what happened to her and doesn’t know if she should dump Martin or not. Eric tricks Simon into waking up when Rose, the nurse, informs him that the hematoma Simon has on his liver is not healing. Simon’s coma has moved to the 3rd stage. According to him, Eric should prepare for the worst.
In the forest, Lola desperately continues to search for Chausset, the wolf she has attached. When she is tormented by the sight of Betty once again, Lola stumbles and passes out. For his part, Killian remains without news about his sister. He begins to panic and fear the worst. So he decides to go and warn Thomas and Gabriel and assume.
Finally, in the forest, Sock reappears and punches Lola in the face to wake her up. A teenager who wants to protect the wolf from the shepherd tells the animal to never leave each other. But then the shepherd comes armed with a gun. He seems ready to shoot Chausset, but Lola intervenes to prevent the worst, allowing the wolf to escape. Seeing Lola limping, the shepherd, who thinks she may have sprained her ankle, offers to take her to his flock of sheep to heal her.
After tending to the teenager’s ankle, the shepherd tries to find out what he is doing alone in the forest. He advises caution and asks her to call her parents to reassure them. He gives his cell phone to Lola so she can join his family.
Meanwhile, Killian is about to tell Thomas everything when he gets a call from his sister. He is released. Killian puts on speakerphone so Thomas can hear their conversation, and Lola apologizes for not calling sooner. However, he insists that everything is fine. After the call is over, the shepherd offers Lola to sleep on the sheep’s flock. He thinks it’s too late to go back to his camp.
At breakfast, Justin gets a call and heads off in isolation to answer it, which seems to raise Baptist’s suspicions. When he returns, she claims it’s a family emergency and she has to go. Baptiste then receives a call from their warrant officer. They should get to the fire as soon as possible. But Justine makes Baptiste believe that she cannot accompany him in this intervention because he has to go to his mother who has just been released from prison.
