The After Saga, adapted from Anna Todd’s eponymous novels, is back on our screens with the upcoming release of the fourth installment. Announced as the final chapter in the franchise, fans were delighted to learn that the fifth and final film was secretly in development!
Waiting for the final outcome of the tumultuous love story between Tessa (Josephine Langford) and Hardin (Hero Fiennes-Tiffin), the public following the saga after the success of the literary series will soon be able to discover Next: Chapter 4.
A date after the 4th
If it opens in cinemas in individual countries, the French will be able to watch the film on Amazon Prime Video, which has regained the broadcast rights after the second installment. The platform has finally announced the show date through the actor’s hero Fines Tiffin: September 23rd!
Tessa and Hardin’s already rocky relationship is shaken by shocking revelations about their families. Before they are allowed a happy ending, the two lovers will have to face new obstacles and raise questions about the stability of their relationship.
The original title “After Ever Happy” declares the color: Tessa and Hardin must learn to be happy independently before they can be happy together. Filmed in Bulgaria after the third installment, 4 is again directed by Castile Landon, who was already in charge after 3.
The two main actors are clearly in the game with new recruits for the third chapter replacing the former performers. Thus, Mira Sorvino replaced Selma Blair in the skin of Tessa’s mother, Carol Young.
Ariel Kebbell and Stephen Moyer replaced Candice King and Charlie Webber with Kim and Christian Vance. Finally, Chance Perdomo replaced Shane Paul McGee as Landon Gibson, Tessa’s best friend and Hardin’s half-brother.
