Warning, spoilers. It is recommended that you watch Episode 3 of House of the Dragon before you continue reading this article.
House Dragon is also allowed to have Lannister twins! The third episode of the Game of Thrones spin-off featured Ser Tyland Lannister and Lord Jason Lannister. If the first, with short hair, has little value in the limited council of the king, the second, with long hair and a brave beard, has much more confidence.
Indeed, Jason Lannister has a desire to marry Rhaenyra Targaryen (Milly Alcock), daughter of King Visser I (Paddy Considine), and does not hesitate to woo her during a hunt organized in Aegon’s honor. But Rhaenyra isn’t very interested in Jason Lannister, or marriage in general, despite pressure from her father.
You should know that the Lannister twins are played by the same actor: Jefferson Hall. The British comedian was involved in the Halloween reboot, but was most notably illustrated in the TV series as Thorstein in Vikings and Vargi in Wizards vs Aliens.
But it also appeared in… Game of Thrones! Jefferson Hall is not only the first actor to play two different roles in the universe, but also the first to star in both series.
You need to go back 11 years and watch the fourth episode of the first season of Game of Thrones. In this chapter titled “Cripples, Scoundrels, and Broken Things,” Jefferson Hall plays Ser Hugh du Vale, Jon Arryn’s former master, former hand of King Robert Baratheon.
The new Hand of the King, Ned Stark (Sean Bean) tried to interrogate him during the investigation into the death of his predecessor, who knew about the existence of Robert Baratheon’s bastard son. But Sir Hugh du Vale, barely a knight, is killed at a tournament organized in Eddard’s honor.

And the knight responsible for her untimely end is none other than Sir Gregor Clegane (Conan Stevens), aka “The Mountain.” Thus, Sir Hugh du Val is one of the first victims of Game of Thrones. Fortunately for his translator, he seems to have a better chance – even twice as much – of surviving in the dragon house.
