NBCUniversal Formats Wednesday announced the first international version of Universal Television’s NBC medical drama new amsterdam It will be produced for Turkey.
Turkish adaptation Hayat Bugun, which stands for “Life is Today”, will be produced by 03 Medya in partnership with Universal International Studios. The show’s original creator, David Schulner, is advising on the series. It is scheduled to be released in Turkey on Show TV in 2023.
The series follows Dr. Barish, the newly appointed Chief of Medicine at one of Turkey’s oldest and most famous public hospitals, who works to renovate an abandoned facility, cutting its red tape to provide exceptional patient care using creative solutions.
