The high school comedy Me Time, recently available on Netflix, seems to agree with all the critics. On Rotten Tomatoes, it becomes the lowest-rated Mark Wahlberg and Kevin Hart film.
Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg in the Netflix comedy directed by John Hamburg (Zoolander)? On paper, Me Time was only a success. And rightly so, as the film quickly found a place at the top of the most watched productions on the streaming platform. Despite everything, critics are pretty unanimous in calling it a minor industrial disaster.
Just look at the American site Rotten tomatoes Where the film shines – in a bad way – is its 7% rating. One of the worst scores in the filmography Mark Wahlberg and Kevin Hart. However, these two superstars have a fair share – including Infinite (17%) and Max Payne (15%) for the former. On AlloCiné, Me Time barely fares better with a score of 1.8/5.
Me Time – Finally comes alone in the deal between Kevin Hart and Netflix, and marks the second collaboration between the platform and Mark Wahlberg following the highly successful Spenser Confidential. It remains to be seen whether the blunder will strain the relationship between the two actors and the American SVOD giant.
