Although the level of the thermometer is trying to fall, the desire for novelty is felt more and more. Good news: the International Ski Film Festival is back! From September 30 to October 2, winter sports enthusiasts are invited to Annecy to enjoy 3 days in the mountains combining music, street food, art, comedy and especially the 7th art.
Marking the start of the winter season every year, the High Five Festival has established itself as an international reference event for all generations. In the program of this 12th edition, no less than 60 films will be screened in the 3 rooms of Cinema Pate in the center of Annecy.
If, as usual, each screening combines several films for a richer experience, this year the event does something new by opening disciplines other than skiing.

The headliners of the freestyle skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, mountain biking or climbing scene are sure to be present in the feature, short and documentary films they host. An opportunity, for example, to experience the thrill of pure freeskiing in front of the world premiere presentation of Anywhere from Here.
For her part, double freeride world champion Elisabeth Gerritsen looks back on her journey and denounces the patriarchy of the ski industry in Fragments Choisis, directed by Alicia Chenchi.
