In exactly 100 days, Avatar 2 will hit theaters, 13 years after the first installment. What do we know about this second opus, which is expected to dynamite the planet of cinema.
On September 21, the first installment of Avatar will hit theaters, 13 years after it became a phenomenal success and collected $2.8 billion at the worldwide box office.
This initiative will allow viewers to refresh their memories before the release of the second part of the adventures of La Voie de l’eau, Jake and Neytiri. There isn’t much time left to wait as the film will release exactly 100 days from today, September 8, 2022.
When does the suite come out?
La Voie de l’eau is one of the sea serpents of cinema that we have been waiting for many years! Originally released by James Cameron in late 2017. Obviously, production is behind schedule and the director is announcing a delay to late 2020.

Tough shooting
The director also asked the actors to put in a lot of effort, for example, to go through intense training to survive underwater for a long time without breathing.
Kate Winslet gave her all for this role, even breaking the apnea record! “I lasted 7 minutes and 14 seconds underwater, baby!”he exclaimed.
The actor actually broke Tom Cruise’s record for the longest underwater apnea on the set of a feature film. Ethan Hunt’s translator Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation breathed underwater for 6 minutes.
“It was amazing and I was really proud of myself. But I’ll probably never do it again. It came after four weeks of pretty intense training and it was in a diving tank, a training tank. But I loved it.”said the Reading native.

THE RETURN OF BIG BAD MILES QUARITCH?
Waterway will see the return of Miles Quaritch, the iconic bad guy from the first installment, played by Stephen Lang. If we already knew the actor was returning for Avatar 2, we assumed it would be via flashbacks, with the antagonist left dead by a few arrows fired by Neytiri.
However, the trailer shows that this ruthless colonel will be alive and well ten years after the events of the first opus. But how is this possible?
One shot in the trailer shows the Na’vi with a stern, angular face that bears an uncanny resemblance to that bad appetite. The clue also leaves little room for doubt, his tattoo on his left arm.
Like the human version of Colonel Quaritch, this boat tattoo has a bird motif. So everything points to the bad guy of the first movie becoming the Avatar himself.
