Millie Alcock, the interpreter of Rhaenyra Targaryen, agreed with everyone in the House of Dragons, the prequel to Game of Thrones. The white-haired princess is already at the center of the storylines, and her strong character makes her a particularly interesting character, between her offspring Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) and a certain Arya Stark (Maisie Williams).
The young Australian actor invited to the podcast revealed exactly which scene he had to play in front of the producers during his audition. And not surprisingly, it’s taken from Season 1 of the parent series:
“JI didn’t know what I was going to play until the day I went with my friends and was like, ‘Oh my, it’s a scene from Game of Thrones… it was with Arya and her sword. I was worried, I was sure that I would not get the role. I was angry. I was like “to make this scene easier to play…”“
It’s unclear which lines these are, but they’re likely taken from the scene above when Arya takes the needle from Jon Snow. But all ends well for Alcock, as a young girl gets the part…
