Disney + has released the first image of “Win or Lose”, the new animated series from Pixar, which will premiere in 2023 on the streaming platform. The artwork was presented at D23, the Disney convention to be held this weekend at Disneyland in California.
The series follows a high school softball team on the eve of a big game, with each episode told from a different character’s perspective. It’s an innovative concept for an animated series, so it could only come from Pixar.
Actor Will Forte has confirmed himself as the voice of the team coach, seen in the image released with a mustache and an incredulous face in the midst of the youth teams.
The creation is by Michael Yates (writer of the animated short film “Twenty and Few”), Carrie Hobson (designer of “The Powerpuff Girls”) and David Lally (animator of “Monsters University”).
