Marvel has revealed the trailer for “Secret Invasion”, a series that will debut in 2023 on Disney +. With a tense atmosphere and conspiratorial tone, the preview is full of stars, joining well-known actors from the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) with impressive “beginners”.
“Secret Invasion” is a sequel to the events seen in “Captain Marvel” and “Spider-Man: Far From Home”, and features Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) and Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) for the center of the action.
The plot is an adaptation of the comic of the same name, written by Brian Michael Bendis in 2008, about an evil faction of the Skrulls (a race of aliens with the power of shapeshifting), which plans to infiltrate key positions of the governments of the Earth to dominate the planet without anyone knowing.
To prevent this from happening, Fury will join allies such as James “Rhodey” Rhodes (Don Cheadle), War Machine and Agent Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman).
