The third season of The Mandalorian series of Star Wars will not be easy for Grogu (aka Baby Yodu) and his Mandalorian protector, played by Pedro Pascal. Season 2 left us with a heartbreaking farewell as the child was healed by Jedi Luke Skywalker to perfect his knowledge of the Force.
A tearful parting, but thankfully a short one provided you’ve seen the Star Wars Boba Fett book; Given the choice of continuing his training or giving up everything to find his mentor, Grogu made the choice by ultimately refusing to become a Jedi.
In turn, Jyn Darrin was dismissed from the Mandalorian Order for removing his helmet, which is forbidden by the rules of his people. At the same time, the latter acquired a new ship created from the hull of a Naboo fighter!
Now the reformed duo is headed for new adventures as the first trailer for this Season 3 previews the role of Bo-Katan, the Mandalorian played by Kate Sackhoff.
No doubt the latter will try to get hold of the Darksaber, which the Mandalorian acquired in a duel won against the evil Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito), which was also announced for this new season.
"So you’re not a Mandalorian anymore… anymore."
