Disney + has released the poster and subtitled trailer for the series based on the Christmas classic “My Santa is Christmas”.
In the series, actor Tim Allen returns to play Scott Calvin, the current Santa Claus, 15 years after “My Santa Claus 3”, released in 2006. Plenty of time at work makes him start planning his retirement and succession. . But the first job interviews to find a replacement are not very encouraging, especially the cameo of former footballer Peyton Manning.
The first “Meu Papai é Noel” (The Santa Claus) came out in 1994 and told the story of a man who was forced to assume the position of Santa Claus after causing an accident with the real Buon Vecchio. The detail is that, as the sequels showed, the replacement was for all Christmases.
The new series will be produced by Jack Burditt, creator of the sitcom “Last Man Standing”, also starring Tim Allen.
The first is scheduled for November 16.
