Released in August 2020, Greenland (airing tonight on TF1), hosted by duo Gerard Butler / Morena Baccarin, will it be allowed to continue?
Gerard is back! After surviving the apocalyptic events of Greenland, Gerard Butler returns for part two!
The actor will reprise his role as John Garrity alongside Morena Baccarin. The latter will play Alison’s ex-wife. The film, titled Greenland Migration, is currently in pre-production.
In the first part, a comet was supposed to crash into Earth and cause a planetary apocalypse. John decides to embark on a perilous journey with his ex-wife, Alison, and their son, Nathan, to reach the last refuge safe from the disaster.
In the second part, John and his family will be forced to leave this shelter to find a new home in Greenland. They will then embark on a perilous journey across the frozen and desolate lands of Europe.
If the first episode had the subtitle “Le Denier Asylum”, this second opus will accordingly be called “Greenland: Migration”. Filming is set to begin soon, still under the direction of Rick Roman Waugh.
The director finds Gerard Butler for the third time since the fall of the President and Greenland. Two artists never leave each other! They also have a project called Night Has Fallen, in which Butler will reprise his role as secret agent Mike Bunning.

The 53-year-old British actor will soon star in Criminal Squad 2, Kandahar and The Plane, directed by Jean-Francois Richet. In this film, Butler plays Brody Torrance, an airline pilot. Having fallen into a strong storm with his plane, the latter managed to land on dry land.
But he quickly discovers that he is in a war zone. Then he and the passengers were taken hostage. Brody will have to take matters into his own hands to get everyone out of a potentially deadly situation.
Plus, King Leonidas of 300 is about to meet the creator of the world’s most ruthless killer: John Wick! According to Deadline, the comedian will star in Just Watch Me, a new action project from Derek Kolstad, the screenwriter of the John Wick trilogy.
It is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Jeff Lindsay, who is best known for creating Dexter in the literary series. Then the famous killer on the small screen was played by Michael S. Hall.
In “Just Watch Me,” Gerard Butler dons the costume of Riley Wolfe, a cunning thief and mask expert. He does not hesitate for a second to resort to violence if anyone dares to cross his path.
The actor will also star in Afterburn, the next feature from The Villainess director Byung-Gil Jung. He will camp on a treasure hunter traversing a post-apocalyptic Earth.
Another project currently in pre-production, Remote Control, sees Gerard Butler step into the guise of a British corporate intelligence analyst. The latter finds himself involved in a conspiracy aimed at destabilizing the Chinese economy.
Meanwhile, Gerard Butler can be seen on Prime Video in action film Last Seen Alive, available from August 1.
