After great discoveries last year, such as the TV movies L’Enfant de personne and A la folie (recently aired on M6) and the TV series L’Amour flou and Fugueuse, the artistic festival returns this year for the 2022 edition. Unprecedented scale, which opens today in La Rochelle.

In addition to honoring Quebec with several events and the presence of three Quebec series in foreign French-language competition, the Festival de la Fiction TV this year will offer a rich selection of new works that should reflect more than ever. A total of 41 works, including 25 French fiction, 10 European and 6 foreign French-language works, will be shown over five days. At the end of the competition, the jury chaired by Sandrine Bonner will present 15 prizes at the closing ceremony on Saturday 17 September, including Best Single, Best 52-Minute and Best 26-Minute Set.

The opening ceremony, hosted by Lup-Dennis Elyon and marked by the presentation of the Canal+ series Marie-Antoinette, will kick off the competition, which will give pride of place to touching social fiction, comedies that fail and original dramas. , which venture into fantasy and science fiction, for example.
