In connection with the theatrical performance of the guest of the future, we offer a quiz that will take the past and the future. Can you return to the present with the perfection you long for?
Time travel has always fascinated people who wonder if this invention could one day be implemented and allow us to visit our relatives from the past, or see what the future holds.
Science fiction has given pride of place to this theme with works that have become references such as HG Wells’ The Time Machine or, to some extent, Jules Verne’s Journey to the Center of the Earth. The cinema is not inferior to many films of the fantasy or science fiction genre, in which there is time travel.
Of course, first of all, we think of the mythical trilogy of the 80s, Back to the future, in which Marty McFly will be able to return to America in the 50s thanks to the invention of Doc. In a darker register, we can also cite James Cameron’s Terminator diptych and its sequel, Mr. Universe Arnold Schwarzenegger, who came from the future to eliminate Sarah Connor from the killer robot in the first part, will become a guardian angel who has come to protect his son Johnny from the ruthless T-1000 killer in the second.
French cinema also offered us time travel films, but often in comics, such as the most famous of them, Jean-Marie Poire’s Guests with Christian Clavier, Jean Reno and Valéry Lemercier. But we can also mention Les Rois Mages featuring Les Inconnus, or Case Depart with Fabrice Eboue and Thomas Ngijol.
Last Wednesday, director Francois Descacs released Le Visiteur du Futur, adapted from his eponymous web series, which made us play and travel (in time) through the nine questions of this quiz. Are you ready for the big start?
