The “Stranger Things” actress battles monsters in the trailer for the Halloween comedy

Netflix has released the poster and first subtitled trailer for “The Curse of Bridge Hollow”, a horror comedy starring Marlon Wayans (“Marlon”), Priah Ferguson (Erica from “Stranger Things”) and singer Kelly Rowland (“Freddy vs. . Jason “). The preview brings out the atmosphere of the film, mixing comedy, horror and action.

Written by Todd Berger (“Happytime Crimes”) and John R. Morey (“Family Guys”), the film follows a teenage girl (Ferguson) who accidentally unleashes a spirit capable of bringing Halloween decorations to life. So, she has to work with her father (Wayans), a skeptical man who doesn’t believe in the supernatural, to try to save the city.

The cast also includes Lauren Lapkus (“The Wrong Missy”) and Rob Riggle (“Angels of the Law”). Jeff Wadlow (“Fantasy Island”) will direct.

“The Curse of Bridge Hollow” will debut October 14 on Netflix.
