Un Si Grand Soleil preview: Monday, September 19, 2022 episode recap [SPOILERS]

On Monday 19 September at Un si grand soleil…

Stuck on the road due to a car accident, Charles arrives at the veterinary clinic a little late, much to Christoph’s annoyance. He loses his temper because he had to warn Charles by cell phone. Surprised by this reaction, the young man apologizes for not calling. Kristoff relents and asks Charles to forget about the incident.

Eva Angeli, shocked by her husband’s death, tries to find out from Johanna what really happened. The lawyer explained to his client that the interrogation was coming to an end and her husband collapsed before being taken to the cell. Johanna suggests that Patrice died as a result of her undercover operation, but Eva refuses to hear it. He wants to file a complaint against the police. Johanna then advises him to wait for the autopsy results before considering filing a complaint against the police. But Eva is a bruised woman who is looking for the culprit at all costs.

In turn, Manu is interrogated by an IGPN inspector, who he claims would follow procedure. Hugo, the medical examiner, confirms to Becker that Patrice’s angel is indeed dead from massive bleeding related to his surgery.

The internal sutures broke, the renal artery was opened and literally emptied from the inside. Hugo does not understand why the stitches broke, the operation was performed by a professional. Toxicological tests showed nothing, and Angel did not have any hematoma on his body, nor any marks of impact. So Hugo will continue his research to find an explanation.

After some time, Becker finds Manu and asks how the interview with the IGPN went. Uptight, he replies that he is bored while he waits for the investigation to be completed. Becker reassures her: the autopsy confirmed that there was no violence.

Hysterical Eva goes to the police station. She asks the police to explain her husband’s death. He freaks out and is tracked down by an agent who takes him to a drunken tank.

Victor is visited by Claire at the thatched cottage. She has come to invite him to a barbecue that is being held this evening at the new house, a small committee. If Victor is welcoming, this is not the case with Helen. He then prefers to decline his daughter’s invitation. Before leaving, Claire reminds him that he’s always welcome if he changes his mind.

Florenti, on the other hand, in his new home, leaves a message for Enzo to come and get his things in the apartment because they need to return the keys. Claire then suggests that her companion invite her to an aperitif tonight. Florenti then rushes to call Enzo to propose to him.

Sometime later, Enzo is taking his things to Florentine and Claire’s old apartment when he gets a call from Kira. A teenager has learned that he is unavailable tonight. Enzo confirms it: he really has to provide service at a private party in the hut.

Kira points out to Enzo that he’s been nervous for three months now and asks him to put his pride aside. A young girl scolding him for his attitude decides it’s her turn to be confused and hangs up on him.

Enzo ends up going to Claire and Florentine’s house. Happy, Florent shows her to his room. He confides in his son that he really believed that he had lost him forever. Afterwards, Enzo explains to his father that he needed time to process what happened.

Florenti I’m really sorry. He cannot imagine that he could do otherwise. Enzo explains to his father that it wouldn’t change anything, he needed someone to blame and it could only be him. The young man hopes that his father does not blame him for being so harsh and unfair to him. Florenti tells Enzo that no matter what happens, he will remain his son.

After talking with Ellen, Victor decided to go to the barbecue alone to cheer up his daughter. But when night falls, someone is watching the guests, hidden behind the dishes.
