Band and Amazon Prime Video have entered into an agreement to broadcast the Brazilian streaming series “Manhãs de Setembro” on open TV. Under the contract, the television network will broadcast the five chapters of the first season late at night, after the “Esporte Total” program, starting on the 26th. It will be the “dawns” of September.

The negotiation would be a way to advertise the second season, which will debut three days earlier, on Friday (23/9).

“Manhãs de Setembro” follows Cassandra (played by singer Liniker), a trans woman whose independence is jeopardized when she discovers she has had a son, Gersinho (Gustavo Coelho), with an ex-girlfriend (Karine Teles). Not wanting to accept being a father, she initially rejects her son, but soon discovers that her life is turned upside down when she sees that the boy has no options.

The series also includes former BBB Linn da Quebrada (“Segunda Chamada”), Thomas Aquino (“Bacurau”), Clodd Dias (“Entrega Para Jezebel”), Gero Camilo (“Carandiru”), singer Paulo Miklos (” California “) and the girl Isabela Ordoñez (” Thirteen days away from the sun “).

Originally conceived as a miniseries, the attraction has pleased audiences and critics alike and, in its second season, will explore the reunion between Cassandra and her estranged father, played by Seu Jorge (“Marighella”). Other novelties in the cast of the new chapters are the participation in the plot of Samantha Schmütz (“Tô Ryca!”) And the singers Ney Matogrosso and Mart’nália.

Produced by O2 Filmes, the series has a screenplay by Josefina Trotta (“Amigo de Aluguel”), Alice Marcone (“Born to Fashion”) and Marcelo Montenegro (“Lili, an ex”), and is directed by Luis Pinheiro (” Samantha “) and Dainara Toffoli (” Friend for hire “).
