This isn’t the first time TF1 has tried the American late show experience. In 2001, Jean-Pierre Foucault thus presented the program “We warn you”, in the second part of the evening, directly inspired by David Letterman, which was canceled two months after the start, due to lack of audience.
Arthur also tried the exercise in 1992 with “Arthur, The Impossible Show”, then in 2013 with “Tonight with Arthur”. Both programs were suspended due to the disappointment of the audience.
