The Lion King on M6: What is Disney’s Next Live Movie?

What do we know about the movie?

The film is directed by Rob Marshall, to whom we owe the Chicago musicals and the Nine and Disney films, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Alien Turning, and Mary Poppins Returns. Filming ended last July after 5 months at Pinewood Studios in Sardinia, UK.

From the announcement of the project to the actual release of the film, respectively, 5 years pass due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
