On Tuesday, Netflix released the official trailer for Mike Flanagan’s upcoming horror series, “The Midnight Club”.

The series, which will last a total of 10 episodes, is based on the book of the same name by Christopher Pike, which follows a group of terminally ill patients in Rotterdam Home, who meet at midnight to tell each other scary stories. . But the group ends up making a pact for them to make contact after death, in case one of them dies.

The series stars Adia, Igby Rigney, Ruth Codd, Aya Furukawa, Annarah Shephard, William Chris Sumpter and Sauriyan Sapkota, while Heather Langenkamp plays the enigmatic doctor in charge of Rotterdam Home.

“The Midnight Club” is the brainchild of Flanagan, who also created Netflix’s hit horror series, “The Haunting of Hill House” and its second season which tells another story in its own right, “The Haunting. of Bly Manor “.

Flanagan is also known for adaptations of horror works, such as Stephen King’s “Dangerous Game” and “Doctor Sleep”, a sequel to “The Shining”. In addition to “The Midnight Club”, Flanagan is also developing a miniseries based on Edgar Allan Poe’s short story “The Fall of the House of Usher”.

Leah Fong, author of “Bly Mansion”, is also on the project as creator along with Flanagan, and both also serve as executive producers. Elan Gale, James Flanagan and Chinaka Hodge will write and Flanagan will direct the first two episodes.
