‘Colors of Fire: Goodbye Up There’ trailer to continue with Benoit Poelvorde and Lea Drucker

Colors of Fire, Clovis Cornillac’s new feature film, has released a trailer. These first images show a work as ambitious as it is moving.

The colors of fire take us to February 1927. After the death of Marcel Pericourt, his daughter, Madeleine, must take over the financial empire to which she is the heir. But she has a son, Paul, who, in a sudden and tragic gesture, sets her on a path to ruin and decline.

Faced with the misfortune of men, the corruption of the environment and the ambitions of those around her, Madeleine will have to do everything to survive and rebuild her life. This task is all the more difficult in France, which watches, powerless, the first colors of the flames that are destroying Europe.

Continuing the goodbyes up there

Colors of Fire features a high-flying cast of Lea Drucker, Benoit Poelvoorde, Alyssa Isaez, Clovis Kornilak, Olivier Gourmand, Alban Lenoir and Fanny Ardan.

Note that the film is directed by Clovis Kornilak, who is signing his 4th feature here after Little, Many, Blindly, Belle and Sébastien 3 and this glorious one. The film, adapted from Pierre Lemaître’s novel of the same name, continues the saga started by Albert Dupontel’s Goodbye up. In 2018, the work received 5 Cesars, including the best director.
