Netflix’s third season of “The Witcher” will only be released in 2023. But despite that, fans of the franchise will still have a series to follow until the end of 2022.
During the Tudum event, Netflix confirmed that the next season of the series starring Henry Cavill won’t be out until next year. But that’s okay: on December 25, 2022, the spin-off series “The Witcher: Inception” will be made available on the streaming service.
“The Witcher: Inception” takes place 1200 years after the events of the main series, chronicling the creation of the first wizard and the events that led to the Summoning of the Spheres. The cast includes Sophia Brown, Laurence O’Fuaraian and Michelle Yeoh. In total, the production will have four episodes.

Fans of “The Witcher”, at this point, must already resign themselves to the long pauses between seasons: the first was released in December 2019, while the second was only released in December 2021. At least this time we will have “The Witcher: The Inception ”to follow until the third season arrives.
