Three years after the release of The Banlieusards, Kerry James returns to the stage to announce a sequel, still in partnership with Netflix.
It was one of the most watched movies of 2019 on Netflix. With Banlieusards, rapper Kerry James and his accomplice Leila Sy have made us a faithful film centered on three brothers from a sensitive suburb of the Paris region: Suleiman, a law student in Paris, Demba, an elder who lives in the rhythm of traffic and the street, and their little brother Numuke, who is still He is looking for his way.
Three years later, the two directors are back with a surprise sequel. The announcement was spread on social networks through a video with the title passengers of the rapper who gave his name to the film.
The two companions have already started filming, which will take place once again in the town of Bois-l’Abbé in Champigny-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne). We don’t yet know what the sequel will be about, but it will most likely take place after the first film.
