The documentary takes a tour of all areas of production and includes interviews with those who were part of the original film, as well as other prominent personalities who gave impetus and visibility to the project. Julio Fernández, Jaume Balagueró, Paco Plaza, Alberto Marini, Pablo Rosso, Teresa Gefaell, Oriol Maymó, David Ambit, Manuela Velasco, Javier Botet, Carlos Lasarte, Ferran Terraza, Ángel Sala, Nacho Vigalondo, Javier Ruiz Cladera Y Koldo Serra are some of the voices that appear in the title.

It is not the first time that López-Fernández has focused on the history of state fantastic cinema, including ‘The wicked faces of Victor Israel’ (2010) and ‘Heirs of the beast’ (2016), both co-directed with David Pizarro, and the documentary short films ‘Jack Taylor, witness to the fantastic’ (2018) and ‘La Dama del Fantaterror’ (2020).
