The list of the most viewed productions in Netflix history keeps updating and now “Dahmer: An American Cannibal” has entered the charts. That’s why we’re bringing you the list of the 15 most viewed series of all time on the platform.
“Dahmer” isn’t the only series that made it onto this list recently. In 2022 we saw several productions invade the Netflix chart, breaking audience records. The new seasons of “Ozark”, “Stranger Things” and “Bridgerton” are now among the most watched in Netflix history, as is Ryan Murphy’s series about serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer.
“Stranger Things” was helped by the two-part release, which gave the production more than the usual 28 days to rack up viewing hours. This helped the sci-fi series to reach the top spot among English-language series by number of viewers on the platform.
However, the effort was not enough to overcome Netflix’s most-watched series of all time, the Korean drama “Round 6”.
To assemble the chart, Netflix counts the number of hours watched by its subscribers around the world, in the first 28 days of each production or season. Some series repeat in the standings, as seasons are counted separately.
It is worth noting that “Dahmer: An American Cannibal” is still in its audience accounting window, as it only completes 28 days of airing on October 18. Therefore, it is quite likely that the series will rise in the rankings, and enter the Top 10.
Below, you can check Netflix’s most viewed series rankings, as well as the number of hours each watched.

Other productions, shortly after the Top 15, include “Sex Education”, the Colombian soap opera “Café com Aroma de Mulher” and the French series “Lupine”.
All the productions mentioned above are available on Netflix.
