A Better Life Preview: Episode Summary for Friday, October 7, 2022 [SPOILERS]

Warning, the following paragraphs contain spoilers for the episode A more beautiful life It will be broadcast tomorrow night on France 3!

The Marcys wake up hungry, excited about their evening together. Lola shows the brothers a selfie they took a few hours before Roland’s death, which she prepared. Killian hangs the frame in Mistral’s bar. Then life resumes its course: Francois has an important meeting, Thomas returns to work at Marci, and Lola spends some time with Sunalee before the latter goes to high school.

So Killian finds himself alone in running the Mistral bar. In the kitchen, while he is in tears, he is visited by Betty. He feels it is his duty to come and comfort her because he was there for her when things went wrong. Reluctant at first, the young man allows himself to be taken in and completely cracks.

Later, François warns Thomas and Killian that they have been contacted by an American lawyer who asks them to see a video of Roland. Before seeing him, Thomas makes them promise not to argue with each other under any circumstances.

During the meeting, the Marquis learned that Rolland had traveled to the United States to circumvent French law prohibiting his children from inheriting. According to his will, the Mistral bar now belongs to Charles Fremont…

Meanwhile, Pavel breaks into Luna and Bastien’s room. He demands that his ex-girlfriend be at his disposal for 24 hours, in which case he will ask her to clean his room. Bastien intervenes when Pavel threatens, even violently towards Luna. After Pavel leaves, Luna promises Bastien that he doesn’t have to worry and she’ll just clean up like he asked. Alone, Bastien decides to call the police to report Pavel…

While Laetitia insists on returning to Scotto, Valentin tells her about his new project. He is going to settle permanently in Dubai and wants her to come with him. Once he sets up his box, he will no longer need to be on the ground all the time. Traveling around the world for them…

Arriving at the high school, Leticia meets Nisma, who admits that she is excited to have him back. So Laetitia is sure that she was taking the teacher’s place. At the end of the lesson, he learns that Sunal is struggling while taking notes. So he gives her a private lesson to help her. Sunalee thanks him.

Laetitia then finds Valentine at lunch. She tells him that she prefers to stay in Mistral. He loves his new job, which gives him the feeling of being useful. She is grateful for what Valentine has given her, but feels that her relationship with him is coming to an end.

When Kevin arrives at the police station, Alexandra points out that he has been gone for two days. A young man says he had RTTs to ask. Alexandra offers to have coffee to talk, but she declines. He immediately volunteers when Ariane needs someone to clean out the archives.

After which Alexandra realizes that Kevin left without telling her when they were supposed to go on a mission together. He leaves the police station and manages to catch her. He expresses regret that he did not tell him earlier that he is trans. He pushes her to make up her mind. Kevin gets angry and admits that for him this changes everything in their relationship.

But despite their bitter split, Kevin and Alexandra can’t stop thinking about each other…
