After “Dahmer”, Evan Peters is in talks to return to Marvel

Actor Evan Peters recently appeared in the Netflix miniseries “Dahmer: An American Cannibal,” where he played serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer. Now, rumors point to a possible return of the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Peters’ last appearance in the MCU was in “WandaVision,” the series that ushered in Marvel’s journey through Disney +. Peters’ character was originally supposed to be Wanda’s biological brother, Pietro Maximoff from “Avengers: Age of Ultron”, but he resembled the hero of Fox’s “X-Men” movies. However, the character turned out to be just a casual actor named Ralph Bohner.

While it looked like Evan Peters’ appearance was going to be a one-time thing, there is now a new rumor indicating that Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, has plans for the actor in the future of his universe.

According to insider Daniel RPK, Evan Peters would be in talks to appear in another Marvel Studios project in the near future. However, it is still not entirely clear what project it may be.

A strong possibility would be a return to the spin-off of “WandaVision” centered on Agatha Harkness, the sorceress played by Kathryn Hahn, called “Agatha: Coven of Chaos”. The rumor comes shortly after Emma Caulfield Ford announced that she will be in the spin-off.

Another possibility would be an appearance in the Wonder Man series, as the hero’s alter ego, Simon Williams, is a novice actor, which could pave the way for the appearance of Peters’ character in “WandaVision”, Ralph. Bohner.

Being a rumor, it should be noted that a return of Evan Peters to Marvel has not been confirmed and could, in the end, be just that, a rumor.

“WandaVision” is available on Disney +, while Evan Peters’ latest project, “Dahmer: An American Cannibal”, is on Netflix.
