Morality is not Follicon Follicon…

Nearby, Isildur tries to free the trapped Valandil. Queen Miriel arrives and helps free him, but Ontamo is dead on the other hand. The queen orders her men to help her rescue a family trapped in a burning house whose roof is in danger of collapsing. As soon as the family leaves, everything about Isildur falls apart.

On the side of Pivellus, their migration seems to lead them to Mount Fate as they discover the still smoking impact of the rocks that moved during the eruption. The stranger looks stunned at the sight of the burning trees. He starts muttering to one of them as if to heal and is about to use his powers again, except the branch falls and almost crushes Nori’s little brother. That won’t help him pick up the pieces with young Pivelois.

In Khazad-dûm, Elrond begs King Durin on his knees – and thus finds himself at the same height – to allow the elves to explore his mithril mines. Before answering, the king asks to speak alone with his son, Prince Durin. He remains undeterred: the exploitation of the mines threatens the dwarves’ existence, so he refuses Elrond’s request. Durin collapsed.

A farewell scene takes place between Elrond and Durin, where both have very heavy hearts. But they have modesty, so tears do not fall. As he leaves, Elrond gives Durin back the piece of mithril he gave him and walks out his friend’s door. At this, Durin bursts into tears and throws the mithril at the other end of the table, next to the evil-infested white tree leaf that Gil-galad had given Elrond. A leaf comes to life near a mithril. That’s all it takes for Durin to go against his father’s orders and call Elrond back.

In Tirharad, Galadriel feels guilty for the trouble. As for Elendil, he oversees the evacuation of the survivors and his men. Queen Miriel finally arrives, exhausted and leaning against Valandil. They both want to tell Elendil of Isildur’s death, but they are speechless in front of Elendil, who asks where his son is.

Galadriel and Theo make their way to Númenore’s camp on their own. He tries to comfort her, giving her a moral lesson about good and evil along the way and cheering her up. To convince him that he could become a soldier, he gives him a sword. A real politician, this Galadriel!

Elendil rides into the camp beside Queen Miriel on horseback. Then he realizes that he can no longer see anything. He has lost his sight, but does not want to know about it, orders to continue moving forward as if nothing happened.

Among the Pivelus, spirits seem to want to be appeased. Sadok talks to the stranger and Nori hands him an apple as a sign of peace. The shot of their approaching hands recalls the fresco The Creation of Adam on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. The stranger takes the apple, moves noticeably, then leaves. (We have a small tear) In the evening, Nori tells her mother that she regrets following the meteorite that crashed the stranger. La Piévelue has a big blues hit.

At night, Galadriel and Theo seek rest in the middle of the forest. Galadriel takes the opportunity to teach a philosophy lesson, but she continues to search for answers to Theo’s questions. But he is saved by a call, orcs are roaming around and about to discover them. Fortunately for them, the nasty creatures are on their way again.

Poppy hums fetching water from the river until she sees a large footprint in the mud. They belong to three disturbing hooded women who have been exploring meteorites. It smells burnt!

In the dark night, accompanied by armed men, three women advance towards the camp. Nori enters and points in the direction the stranger went. Seeing them, Nori’s father threatens them with his torch. He puts out the worst fire by hand. He then blows the embers, which ignites all of Pivellus’ caravans. (When I told you it smells burnt!)

Arriving at the Numenorean camp, Elendil tries to calm Berek Isildur’s horse. He is restless because he is far from his master. Elendil frees it, and the animal returns to the forest to find its human. In the same move, Elendil curses Galadriel and regrets saving her from the water.

Galadriel arrives at the camp with Theo. He is looking everywhere for his mother Bronwyn. He enters a tent that serves as a field hospital, eventually finding Bronwyn there, calm and peaceful. and round. He even hugs her covered in violins. Galadriel enters in her turn, still looking battle-ready. He asks to see the Queen.

Miriel is away from camp with Elendil. He wears it blindfolded. They give final instructions before all set upon Númenor. Galadriel joins them, accompanied by Bronwyn. The elf is delighted to see the blind queen. But Miriel stands firm as a rock and promises that Númenor will return. And poor Elendril breaks down in tears.

Woodworms scavenge what remains to be collected from the pile of ashes in their camp. Nori’s father gives a hopeful speech that surprises. It was enough to inspire Nori, who decides to walk her own path, to warn of the unknown danger that threatens her. Finally, it is Poppy, then Malva and her husband Zadok, who decide to accompany her.

Miriel returned to Númenor in her boat. Arondir and Galadriel watch him from a distance. It is here that Bronwyn tells Galadriel that Halbrand is alive. He is badly injured and will need elf medicine to recover. But the king of the southlands has a tough skin, he rides with Galadriel, who is recognized by his people.

In Khazad-dûm, Durin is all sad. His father deprived him of his title and honor. Together with his wife and sister, they are going to do Megxit. Disa exposes the king’s weakness and lack of vision and looks to the future when the kingdom will be theirs.

At the mine, Durin Senior wants to shut everything down. He throws a reanimated leaf into a hole that overlooks a mithril-filled cavity. When it hits the ground, the leaf catches fire and awakens the Balrog! (No more burning smell!)

In Tirharad we are back with Adar and his orc horde! They thrive in this chaos, and thanks to the thick smoke, they can now even take off their clothes in broad daylight. The sun can no longer burn them. They chant the name of Adar, Lord of the Southern Lands. Adar denies. We have to find another name for these lands.

The camera pans to Mount Doom, which is still on fire. The name of the Southern Lands appears on the screen, which fades away to be replaced by the name of Mordor.
