The planning horizon is getting shorter, but you still want to dream about the upcoming holidays. Trailers and teasers of new Christmas and New Year films help with this so far. For example, Netflix will soon release the film “Falling For Christmas” with Lindsay Lohan, and its rival Apple TV+ is preparing the musical “Christmas Story”.
The first teaser for the upcoming film, starring Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell, appeared online yesterday. “A Christmas Carol” (Spirited) reinterprets “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens. In the adaptation, the image of the gloomy miser Scrooge was played by Ferrell, and the hero of Reynolds will have to reconsider his past and rethink his life on Christmas Eve.
Directed and written by Sean Anders and John Morris. The film will also feature Octavia Spencer, Patrick Page, Sunita Mani, Lauren Woods, Joe Tippett, Marlowe Barkley and Jan Tulloch. The film will first be released in theaters on November 11, and a week later, on November 18, it will appear on streaming.
