Running for several weeks, after it all started with the shooting of Benjamin Ventura (Alexander Varga), tomorrow’s Justice Belongs to Us concludes tonight on TF1 with the finale of Amanda Farrow’s revenge. Marion Christman).
Returning to the series after an absence of more than a year, the young nurse never managed to mourn Ulysses (SĂ©bastien Capgra), her fiancĂ©, who died during the hostage-taking at the Spoon. And that’s why he decided to kill everyone who was directly or indirectly responsible for this tragedy.
After attacking Sophie Novak (Carol Bianick), a hostage lawyer and longtime friend, Amanda chooses Martin (Frank Moncini) to be her new target. But Commander Constant managed to disarm the killer and arrest him. put an end to his murderous vendetta.
Returning to our microphone after returning to the series, Marion Christman reacts to the conclusion of this tense story and gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the confrontation between Amanda and Martin. before mentioning the possibility of her character possibly reappearing in the series one day.
Alocine: While she was ready to kill Martin, Amanda was finally arrested by the police in the episode Tomorrow belongs to us from this evening. And he He shows little remorse when questioned at the police station. Do you think this is the logical ending, or would you rather she find out about his actions?
Marion Christian : I like that he sticks to his behavior. He told himself that he would return to avenge Odysseus. I think he is in so much pain that the need for revenge has become visceral. What happened is so unfair that it makes sense to take revenge for him. The emotional side is less.
We can almost understand why this is going on…
That’s what I wanted to show in the interrogation scenes. I wanted us to be able to understand him and not tell ourselves that he has become a psychopath. Amanda is someone who is in a lot of pain and cannot overcome her grief and this injustice. So I hope the audience will get used to Amanda and her turnaround.
It’s true that the screenwriters don’t make him a real villain devoid of feelings…
We didn’t want her to be the villain because it’s still Amanda, the nurse. But in order for him to be so calm, something must have been going on in his brain. If he had remained as he was before, he would not have been able to take action.
Was it a little disappointing for you not to have more scenes with Solenn Hébert and Mayel Elhajaou?
With Mayel, we still got what we wanted in the last episode, so that was great. We have scenes that are really very beautiful. I was happy to shoot with him, because Mayel is my friend in life. So finding him on set with emotional scenes was really nice. It’s a beautiful score to play with for the character of Georges.
But admittedly, it was a bit disappointing not to be able to play with Solen anymore. I would love to have a scene together at the end. I would also love to play Kenza with Saib Kuton and have Soraya as my lawyer. This is our biggest regret because he is a friend in life.
Maybe later for another arch…
Indeed, because tomorrow belongs to us, nothing is final (laughs).
If we own Tomorrow’s production, we’ll come back with another proposal, would you be up for it?
I’d love it if there was a back story or a prison, or that the character takes a different path. It’s always nice to find friends, find teams we’ve known for a long time, and experiment with different palettes. It’s always nice to come back and say hello.
Is there a scene that stood out more than others during this intrigue?
along with the scene Frank Monsigny (Martin) When we are both guns in hand. There is a waterfall and it was quite difficult to photograph because it was very technical. So we fought a bit, especially since I was sick that day. The stuntman wanted to put a knee on me because I was going to put my knee on the ground a lot. I said “no, no problem, no need” but I got bruises like I’ve never had in my life (laughs). But it was fun to shoot. Plus, I know Frank loves the waterfall too, so we had a lot of fun.
I really fell for a little anecdote. I slipped, but we didn’t cut the scene. We kept shooting and it turned into something really great. We are completely out. Frank wanted to grab my hair, but I was wearing a wig, so he took it off. I’m not sure if they kept that scene in the final cut, but it was pretty cool for us.
And all in all, tomorrow is our adventure, do you have a favorite story?
I was really lucky. I believe I am one of the luckiest characters because I actually got all the palettes. Of course there is the rape arch which was amazing and which I will never forget. As an actor, it was a great chance for me to be able to handle such a theme.
In the end, it is the whole adventure of tomorrow that remains in our memory, because every time I had the opportunity to play with different actors. And then, Amanda is a great character that I remember. I was really lucky to play that girl.
Do you have any upcoming projects you’d like to tell us about?
I will start filming Astrid and Rafael soon. I also have a theater project in the works and on January 25th we will be able to see me in theaters in Divertimento by Marie-Castille Mement-Chaar. And you can also hear my voice on TV as I regularly do voiceovers for commercials.
