Online cinema KION has published a trailer for the second season of Mikhail Polyakov’s adventurous comedy Secrets of Family Life. Nikita and Polina (Pyotr Skvortsov and Alena Mikhailova) will reappear in the drama about a married couple on the verge of divorce. In the new season, the couple is on the verge of not only divorce, but also imprisonment. Sanitizers were trapped by investigator Roman (Fyodor Lavrov): he revealed their plan and decided to blackmail young people into continuing their series of murders of bloggers. Much changes at the funeral of Lera (Ekaterina Steblina): Polina meets her brother (Rinal Mukhametov), and mutual attraction arises between the two people. However, the situation is aggravated due to new, very non-trivial orders of investigator Roman, who unexpectedly decides to leave the authorities and become a deputy, launching his political career.
According to his plan, the extremely popular blogger Kira Crouch (Regina Todorenko) should become the new victim of the Sanitizers. Nikita and Polina have to get out of the cycle of blackmail, stop killing people and try to rehabilitate their marriage. However, it may be that young people have nothing to save: relations in this family have noticeably transformed, and Polina’s pregnancy, who wants to have a more reliable father for her child, is not the only reason for this.
The second season of Family Secrets will retain the touch of comic absurdity set by the first season, which was released in April 2021. The project was awarded as the best comedy series at the international festival of web series Webfest Berlin in Germany, 30 projects from all over the world were presented in the program of the show. The series was also shown at the 3rd Russian festival Realist Web Fest, where it was awarded a special prize. This is the only show in Russia that presents the best web projects in the world.
Kirill Kaganovich, Svetlana Kamynina, Nikita Kologrivy, Lyubov Smirnova, Ekaterina Steblina, Alexei Grishin, Artur Ivanov, Anna Popova, Danil Steklov, Svyatoslav Rogozhan, Dmitry Krasilov and other Russian actors will also appear in the series.
The second season of the radical black comedy “Secrets of Family Life” will be released on October 21 exclusively in the KION online cinema.
