After almost a year and a half of the action TV movie Le Saut du diable, Paul Villar is preparing to return to TF1.
The channel has just announced that the sequel to this muscular thriller, now titled Le Sentier des loups, will air on Monday 7 November at 9.10pm, opposite the historical mini-series Diane de Poitiers, hosted by Isabelle Ajan, in France. 2.
Filmed last June, this second opus in the Le Saut du diable saga, directed by Julien Serre, will apparently see Philippe Bass return to the role of Paul Villar, a former special forces officer and specialist in survival and extreme sports who was ready. Do everything to save your daughter in the first episode. Like a distant cousin of Liam Neeson in Taken.
As Le Sentier des loups begins, Paul begins his descent into the woods with four teenagers. It’s an opportunity for him to impart Army values to the youth and share a moment with Sara (Myra Schmidt), his daughter, who is also on the trip.
On the day of his departure for this great adventure, Paul finds Sergeant Gabriel Martinot (Sarah Mortensen), who has just returned from a mission in Yemen and is proud to have returned the priceless statues to their country of origin.
But during the bivouac, while Paul goes to find wood for the fire, the young men are taken hostage by mercenaries. The soldiers can’t do anything, Paul is the only one who can free the hostages by stealing the statues before they leave the base.
Then begins a terrifying and sensational race against the clock in the middle of the wild. Trapped in a Machiavellian plot orchestrated by a ghost from the past, Paul Villar will have to call on all his strength to save his daughter, the band, and his honor.
With Philip Bass, Maira Schmitt (Leo Mattei) and Sarah Mortensen (Astrid and Rafaele) joining the adventure in the skin of a new character, TF1 viewers will find a familiar face as Benjamin Barochet (Taissier Here It All Begins). His features were given to Matthias Karon, Paul’s former brother.
Robin Mini (Skam France), Edouard Montute, Jérôme Angers, Zoë Heran (Stalk), Jean-Stan du Pak (La Maison d’en face), Lorette Nissen (L’école de la vie), Denis Brachin and Olivia Curbis.
Written by Anastasia Heinzl and Tigran Rosin Will Le Sentier des loups be the same success as Le Saut du diable, which gathered 6.12 million curious people (26.7% women responsible for purchases under 50? ) on June 17, 2021 ? Reply to early November on TF1.
