Henry Cavill, the current “Superman”, has described his hopes that the hero will be a more inspiring presence in the DCU after making his long-awaited return in “Black Adam”.
In an interview with Screen Rant, Cavill explained his ideal scenario for the future of the main character and the role “Superman” could play in the DCU. “There is a lot in the way of conversations going on,” she said.
“Obviously, I have a very close bond with the character. And there is something extraordinarily special about him; extraordinarily special in his ability to give and love. I don’t mean romantically; I mean his love of him for the Earth and the people who live here and making people feel powerful, making people feel like Superman himself.
Immediate plans for Superman’s future appearances are unclear, although “Justice League” and “Man of Steel” director Zack Snyder has made it clear his excitement at the prospect of working with the actor again.
Cavill continued to clarify his personal goals for the character to move forward. “I have a lot of wishes for that, of course, which will be discussed further,” Cavill said. “But the most important thing, which I want, is for the audience to come out of the cinema and feel like they can fly, feel able to protect and feel like they want to help everyone else. “Black Adam” hits big
With Dwayne Johnson in the title role and Cavill’s “Superman” cameo in the post-credits scene, the release of “Black Adam” was a hit for DC Films and Warner Bros.
