Brazil today has a large number of streaming platforms available in its territory. With a wide variety of options and prices that vary over time, the brought the plans and values of the country’s main streaming services.

Netflix
The streaming giant has four different plans, all with monthly payments. Meet each one below:
Basic with ads
The Basic plan with ads is the simplest to stream after its launch earlier this month, and as the name suggests, it contains ads when viewing catalog content. It is the only plan that does not allow downloading of content from the platform, which makes it impossible for its users to watch Netflix offline.
Another downside is that some content from the Netflix catalog is not available on this plan, due to licensing restrictions, according to Netflix. Only one person can watch the content at the same time, i.e. the plan only has one screen available. The video quality is 720p (HD).

Basic
Netflix’s Basic plan was, until last week, the easiest to stream. Basic allows downloads to the platform and, like Basic with ads, does not allow more than one screen. That is, even if two people are in the same house, it is not possible for both of them to watch Netflix on separate screens at the same time.
After the arrival of the Basic with ads, there was an improvement on the Basic plan: the resolution went from 480p to 720p (HD). Therefore, Netflix no longer offers plans with quality below 720p. Unlike the advertising plan, Netflix’s full catalog is available here, as are the others below.

The Standard floor, on the other hand, has some comforts not present in the Basic floors. In it, you can watch Netflix on two simultaneous screens, as long as the account is used by people living in the same house.

Unlike Netflix, Prime Video, streamed from Amazon, doesn’t offer different plans. There are only two distinct payment options: monthly and yearly. Although there are no different plans in Prime Video, Amazon streaming offers the ability to customize the subscription with so-called Channels, premium and specialized channels for watching TV, movies and much more.

On the other hand, if the interest is just for the Disney + subscription, there are two subscription options for now: monthly or yearly. Apple’s streaming service offers a few subscription options. By purchasing an Apple device, users receive three free months of Apple TV + as a gift. There is also a package where you can buy Apple TV + alongside other services from the company, the Apple One.
But to buy the streaming service only, Apple offers a 7-day free trial, followed by monthly fees.

Anime lovers know Crunchyroll well. The stream that boasts “the largest anime catalog in the world” has three subscription options, with the FAN and MEGA FAN plans, with the latter being paid annually.
FAN
The FAN plan is ad-free and offers unlimited access to the streaming library, with new episodes airing right after airing in Japan. However, it only offers one screen at a time and does not include the ability to watch content offline, and there is no annual one-time payment discount.

MEGA FAN
Like the FAN plan, MEGA FAN is ad-free, offers unlimited access to the Crunchyroll library, and also receives new episodes shortly after airing in Japan. The differentials of this more complete plan are the possibility of being watched up to four simultaneous screens, offline viewing and the 16% discount if the user opts for a single annual payment.

Another service that exists in Brazil is Mubi, which specializes in cinema. The service provides monthly and annual payments, with a discount on the latter.
