‘Kings against Santa’: Exclusive clip of the comedy this Christmas

History brings us that illusion that we all have had when we were little (and not so little). The plot brings us back to the most beloved characters of Christmas: the Three Kings and Santa Claus. As the title itself warns, their Majesties from the East will stand up to the one in the red suit who arrives on the night of December 24. Who will win in this head-to-head?

In the clip that we offer exclusively, a meeting takes place. Like every year, all the creatures of Christmas, those in charge of giving toys around the world (Snegurochka, the Russian Snow Maiden, the Basque Olentzero, the Italian Befana…) meet in the MOB, the Commission and Universal Brotherhood of Magical Beings. However, this year one of those magical beings, Santa, comes up a notch. “Since the beginning of time, Christmas has been synonymous with Santa Claus. But now that’s over,” they begin by saying in the clip. Thus, he appears before everyone with a new brand image and a whole marketing campaign that leaves everyone with their mouths open, presenting himself as “Santa Claus 2. 0”. Everyone is perplexed except the Three Wise Men, who feel like old glories in the face of Santa’s growing popularity.

Karra Elejalde (‘Eight Basque surnames’, ‘While the war lasts’), David Verdaguer (‘10,000 km’, ‘I leave it whenever I want’) and Matthias Janick (‘Unfortunate stories’), are in charge of interpreting their Majesties of the East. the mexican actor Andres Almeida (‘Bardo’, ‘And your mother too’) takes on the role of Santa Claus here. They are the four protagonists of the story along with the Mexican comedian Adal Ramones (‘Cantinflas’, ‘Pink Fists’).
