As seen in ‘The Crown’, Kelly Fisher was an American model in the 1990s and is known to have developed a romantic relationship with Dodi A-Fayed in 1996.
According to Newsweek, their relationship began in Paris in July 1996 and by November they were already engaged. The couple planned to live in Los Angeles after their wedding, which was scheduled to take place in August 1997.
According to testimony Fisher gave to French authorities in 1998, she and Dodi A-Fayed had vacationed in the south of France in July 1997, and she later returned to Los Angeles to continue her wedding preparations.
But, according to Newsweek, in August of that year, a few days before her wedding date, she received a call from her fiancé with whom he broke up with her. The reason? He had begun a relationship with Diana, Princess of Wales.
