The series “This Is Us”, a great success of the American broadcaster NBC, premiered on Brazilian Open TV by Rede Globo this Wednesday (16).
In all, the production has six seasons full of drama and emotion as it follows the Pearson family. The last episode of ‘This Is Us’ aired in May this year, concluding the long trajectory of the internationally acclaimed series. In all, the series amasses 11 Emmy nominations, as well as two awards wins.
The series follows the daily life of the Pearson family from the 1980s to the present day. After one of their triplets dies in childbirth, couple Rebecca (Mandy Moore) and Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) adopt a newborn rescued by firefighters.

“This Is Us” portrays the dilemmas of the characters as a family and also the trajectory of each of the children as adults: Randall (Sterling K. Brown), a lawyer dealing with the return of his biological father; Kevin (Justin Hartley), a popular TV actor trying to reinvent himself, and Kate (Chrissy Metz), a woman trying to deal with her weight and overcome childhood traumas.
The series was originally broadcast in Brazil on the closed channel Fox Premium. Now, “This Is Us” arrives on the Rede Globo programming grid, replacing the gastronomic reality show “Mestres do Sabor”, on Wednesdays, after the telenovela “Travessia”, at 10.25pm.
Additionally, all episodes of “This Is Us” are available to stream on Star+.
