The second day of the 54th edition of SPFW was packed with celebrities, not just the public, starting with the first fashion show of the day, curated by the Misci brand, with Giovanna Ewbank, Enzo Celulari and Leandro Lima, passing through Lilly Sarti, with Isabella Fiorentino and Isabelle Drummond, until the last, by João Pimenta, who took Icaro Silva. The designer repeated the audacity already tried in 2017, leaving the butt of one of the models on display with the plunging neckline on the back of the garment he wore.
Before João Pimenta, Tainá Muller also walked the catwalk, starring in hot (non-explicit) sex scenes with Jhona Burjack in videos projected at the bottom of the catwalk. And as if they had left television, they ended the Another Place show. The brand, which has the sexuality of fashion at its heart, also had the presence of actor and singer João Guilherme, former BBB Daniel Lenhardt, body activist influencer Letticia Munniz.

“Masculine” brand DePedro presented a pocket show with singer Vitão, who wore a skirt and T-shirt. And the actor, presenter and drag queen Ikaro Kadoshi, stage name of Tiago Liberato, attended TA Studios. “Fashion must reformulate our ideas, ideals and values, especially after the pandemic, so that humanity can survive,” Ikaro said, before stepping onto the catwalk.

And there was no lack of representation even in the fashion shows, with trans models, such as Sam Porto, the first transgender male to walk the catwalk in SPFW a few seasons ago, representing various brands, including TA Studios, by Gisele Caldas, who eventually entered with a banner with the inscription “Obrigado Nordeste”, in reference to the result of the elections that led Lula to be the most voted with a minimum margin of difference.

prominent body
If the sexual option no longer matters when it comes to dressing, with agender fashion even bodies are there to be shown, no matter the yardstick or the scale. Plus-size models or like us, without that squalid thinness, shamelessly wear garments with strategic cuts and low waists, leaving the bottoms in evidence.

This was made explicit in several brands, but even more so in Another Place, with a mix of weights of leather, denim and jacquard with other light and transparent fabrics. With messy hair, several facial piercings and smudged makeup, creative director Rafael Nascimento’s message was about love. From flirting to breaking up, full of pain and love. The theme of the collection was “Love Hurts”, something like “O Amor Machuca” and most of the dresses are black, with inserts of shine and some destroyed pieces, which represent the marks that a relationship can leave.

And to conclude the evening, João Pimenta was faithful to his non-traditional work in menswear, presenting the “Renascimento – Human Anatomy” collection, with exaggerated and puffy silhouettes filled with ample drapes, called dégagés, which give movement and volume to the looks. .

Inflated and rounded shapes, wide-waisted coats, overlapping and unexpected cuts, both layered, as in the look modeled by Ícaro Silva, and behind, like the one that left the model’s bum visible. João also showed off a mini skirt and bikini top worn by a boy.
