By the way, the Bala Quero group was another one that stood out in the Portuguese speaking categories. They have been awarded as Best Portuguese Language Contemporary Pop Albumcategory in which they competed with Jão, Gilsons, Marina Sena and Luisa Sonza.

In addition, Brazilian music veterans such as Erasmo Carlos, Marisa Monte, Alceu Valença and Chitãozinho e Xororó were also honored at the Latin Grammy Awards.
