The Nuvemshop e-commerce platform announced its arrival in Colombia on Tuesday 22nd. With an investment of more than BRL 53 million, the company aims to reach the goal of 10,000 customers by 2024.
In addition to Brazil, Nuvemshop has offices in American continent countries such as Argentina and Mexico and arrives in Colombia after receiving a Series E investment round that raised R$2.6 billion, making it a unicorn company.
Nuvemshop has more than 100,000 stores and integrates products, payments, shipping, as well as providing an ecosystem with more than 1,000 partners, such as Facebook, Instagram, marketplaces and physical stores. Currently, the company has more than 1,000 employees.
In 2021, the company acquired Ecommerce in Practice, an e-commerce school and community; and Mandaê, a logistics platform. This year it has consolidated new business units: Nuvemshop Next, for retailers with revenues exceeding R$ 100,000; Nuvem Pago, means of payment for e-commerce SMEs; and Nuvem Pay, a payment solution that facilitates the purchase process.
