Santos formalizes the departure of the quartet for next season

Madson won’t renew his contract and Luan, Bruno Oliveira and Auro won’t see their loan extended until next season

After announcing the arrival of Paolo Roberto Falcoto be the soccer coordinator, e Odair Hellman for the technical command, Santos is still thinking about the squad for next season. This Tuesday (22nd), the São Paulo team made it official that the Madson and Auro teams, midfielder Bruno Oliveira and forward Luan will not remain in the team for next season.

“Santos FC is grateful for the services provided by the four athletes during their time in the Club’s shirt and wishes them the best of luck in their careers,” the club said in an official statement.

Of the four athletes who will not remain in Santos’ squad in 2023, Madson was the only one with a direct link to the club. The team was a regular for most of 2022 but did not renew ties with the team because the salary was considered high.

Midfielder Luan arrived during the 2022 season and failed to please. Despite Santos paying a small part of his salary, the athlete will return to Corinthians in 2023. Auro, also on loan, will return to Toronto from MLS.

Midfielder Bruno Oliveira, who belongs to Caldense, was unable to answer and, despite being a fan of San Paolo, he will return to Minas Gerais in 2023.

With the official departure of the athletes, Santos takes a breather in the budget to think about reinforcements. One of the team’s objectives is to strengthen the midfield and the name of the defensive midfielder Edenílson is assumed in the team, who is at Internacional and has already worked with Odair.
