Highly anticipated for winning the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, Triangle of sadness has enough clout to debut as the third most pirated movie of the week.
In this drama, a luxury cruise ship is attacked and ends up sinking in the middle of the sea. Now, a group of rich people are trapped on an island and the social hierarchy changes completely, when the only person who knows how to fish, make fire and survive in those conditions is a Filipino cleaning lady.
2. Guardians of the Galaxy: Christmas Special
Christmas has arrived a month early in the MCU with the Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Special🇧🇷 Although the film is available on Disney +, it quickly fell on torrent trackers and debuts here as the second most illegally downloaded.
The film marks the penultimate meeting of the group of heroes, in an exciting and entertaining story to lift Peter Quill’s spirits and remind us how much we have come to know and love these characters. Anything beyond that is a spoiler, so it’s worth watching.
1. Black Adam
For the second time in a row, black adam is the most pirated movie of the week. Long awaited, it was enough for it to land on HBO Max in the UK for it to fall into the hands of internet rippers and torrent trackers.
It’s no wonder either: the film promised to change the scale of power in DC and has brought about no less than The rock for the lead role. And while we didn’t think the movie was that great, it’s undeniable that it brought back hope that we’ll have new and good DC movies in the future.
