Brazilian streamer Casimiro broke the world record for simultaneous YouTube listens with his broadcast of the match between Brazil and Switzerland, valid for the Qatar 2022 World Cup. The match ended 1-0 for the Brazilian national team, with midfielder Casemiro scoring .
During its broadcast, Casimiro reached 4.2 million concurrent viewers. This number surpassed the FluTV broadcast which, in July 2020, during the Rio Cup final – considered the first round of the Carioca Championship – between Fluminense x Flamengo, reached a peak of 3.59 million devices connected to the broadcast at the same time.
Cazé had already come close to the record during his broadcast of the first game of the Brazilian team. There, she reached 3.48 million concurrent viewers, placing her second on the list of highest concurrent viewers in YouTube history.

Youtuber surpasses PewDiePie and becomes the most followed on the platform
Users who spend a lot of time on YouTube are probably familiar with Swedish influencer PewDiePie, who has become a hugely popular name and has reigned as the platform’s most-followed for years. This week, however, the youtuber has been overtaken by Jimmy Donaldson, better known as Mr. Beast.
At present, PewDiePie has 111 million subscribers on YouTube, while Mr. Beast has reached 112 million. The Swede had already achieved the rank in 2013, having gained many fans with gameplay videos of horror games. However, it decided to reduce its content load a few years ago.
